New Blog Design Competition

There is a new design competition started by the Weblog Tools Collections that has stirred up a little curiosity. This is design, ala CSS Zen Garden style, will ask designers to create styles for the new version of the WordPress Sandbox theme from PlainText.org.

That is a great blank canvas theme to start from, so it could turn out to be an interesting competition. They are releasing more info sometime today on the PlainText site, but I’m leaving to go out of town today, and won’t be back to write on it for a couple of days. Make sure you check out PlainText.org today if you’re interested. They mentioned cash prizes, and of course the free advertising that comes with having your design do well.
